Who Am I?

Welcome everyone! Thanks for the visit.

So who is John Weller?

I currently just turned 30 years old and am living in Noblesville, Indiana.   I tend to think of myself as a very free spirit who is open to pretty much anything.  I really love music, movies, television, traveling, cooking, and living each day to it's fullest.

I was born and raised in good 'ole Marion, Indiana.  I spent my early years living in the city of Marion and attended Southeast Elementary School thru the 4th grade.  My family then moved out into the country (where my parents still live to this day), and I became apart of Eastbrook Community School family.  I graduated in 1998 and decided to take my talents to Ball State University.

At BSU, I studied Physical Education, Aquatics, and Adapted Physical Education.  Besides going to class, I pretty much spent the rest of my free time working with the Recreation Department (and having a beer or two).  Man O Man, does that bring back some great memories.  I graduated in 2003 and then moved out to good 'ole Pullman, WA.

Pullman was a fantastic little journey and I made some live long friends while living out there.  I worked at a local aquatic center, for Washington State University, and at a company that helped place those with disability into the world of work.  The saying "Once a Coug, always a Coug" couldn't be more true.

I moved back to Marion and helped open a Waterpark for the city and ran that for two summers.  HOT, HOT, HOT.  It was a great job, but I still knew there was something better out there for me.  An opportunity arose to take a position in Indianapolis with LifeTime Fitness and I jumped on it.

Man, was did that turn out to bite me in the butt.  I loved my job with LTF and really felt like it was a place I could make a career out of, problem was, the new boss didn't think so :(

That leads me to right here and now.  Sitting here typing this in the midst of searching for a job.  I know there is something out there for me, and I hope that it comes my way very soon!

Enjoy!
